On track the M3 is one of the few cars craving wet weather. The day before, you find yourself eagerly anticipating your next track day outing whilst doing a rain dance. The first generation M3 has the ability to humiliate even some of the very latest machinery in the wet. All this fused with road drivability and affordable running costs.
This particular car was commissioned and built for the son of the Aga Khan in 2005. It was a no expense spared project from start to finish. Originally built in Lachs silver, the car was painted white before the rebuild commenced.
The car was mechanically rebuilt and then upgraded. The instruction was to build a car for fast road use and track days whilst keeping it road usable for long journeys to his favourite circuits. It wanted for nothing and even benefitted from a brand-new engine.
Presented with a 100% full-service history from new and will be handed over to the lucky new owner with all the original handbooks, manuals, engine dyno sheets, invoices and some documented history in the file.
Prior to hand over the car will pass through the workshop for full inspection and preparation for the track day season.
Since completion, the car has covered only a few thousand kilometres and 5-6 track days. During that time the car has been stored by us on behalf of the owner in Andorra in our storage facility.
Our Thoughts
The E30 M3 truly makes the perfect user-friendly track day weapon.
