Porsche’s 911 model was first revealed to the public in September 1963 when it was launched at the Frankfurt International Motor Show with its original name the 901, now better known as the legendary 911.

The original 911 had an air-cooled flat-six engine instead of the four-cylinder boxer engine of the 356. It produced 130PS, accelerated from 0-62mph in 9.1 seconds and had a top speed of 130mph.
The 911 brand has continued to go from strength to strength. A 991 is without a doubt the final model to still retain the driving characteristics of a true 911.
With an unadulterated feeling behind the wheel and benefitting from modern day comforts, this Porsche Carrera 4S Targa is the ideal solution for owners who still want that driving buzz without the responsibility and challenges of owning a classic car.
This specification with Sport Chrono plus Pack and PDK gearbox, will only become increasingly desirable as the world continues to become more sterile and force us ever nearer to driving white goods.
The 991 Carrera 4S arrived on the scene in January 2014 with 400hp. The 3.8 Carrera 4S trumps its predecessor (997) by 15hp and a whopping 21Nm, taking torque to 441Nm and a 0 – 62mph in 4.6 seconds.
The owner of this 911 is a great friend of ours. We have been responsible for the care of his collection over the years, including his matching, older brother, black 993 Targa. What a pair!
It is now with heavy heart, that the practical needs to rule the day. Retirement and now living in both the UK and Italy simply does not allow enough time to use all these cars. It will be sadly missed and must go to an equally caring second owner.
The car will pass through our workshop for full PDI and new MOT prior to hand over to the new owner. Just completed was a major service by Porsche Service Centre Brooklands.
This 991 will be handed over with all original manuals, handbooks, service book, service wallet and spare keys.
The 911 Carrera T is unquestionably a future classic and arguably the last Porsche appealing to the 911 purist. With focus on weight reduction, simplicity, the last of the elegant narrow body cars and two-wheel drive, this is the 911 for the enthusiast wanting classic style and feel with turn key usability.
