Spring has sprung
With spring now well on the way and Easter just around the corner, we are as busy as ever.
Lots of projects to finish off ready for customers to enjoy this summer.
Some of these projects were completed this week ready for weekend collection.
A quick oil service, new set of locking wheel bolts, annual check over and new MOT on one of the best 635 Highlines in the country. Only 26,000 miles from new and totally original.
A stunning 2002 Tii with running problems. The car had been to a few garages and nobody was able to diagnose why the car would not stop pinking. The owner was recommended to us and we set to work. The Kugelfischer fuel pump had been tampered with and the warm up regulator was seized. With the correct set up of the fuel pump and timing checked, the problem was found. It turned out that the cylinder head had been skimmed twice and this unacceptable rise in compression ratio was the cause of the pinking. New cylinder head time for this Tii.
A stunning E46 M3 was completed this week. An inspection II service and an incredibly thorough clean of the underside of the car. Any of the very tiny bits of surface corrosion dealt with and the body shell protected with both clear Waxoyl and Tectyl ML.
A Fjord Blue CSL had her engine rebuild completed this week and while the engine was out, some very small areas of surface corrosion between the chassis legs and inner front wings was dealt with. The engine bay will now benefit from some detailing work before her rebuilt engine is installed.
This stunning 3.2 Carrera Super-Sport with only 9000 miles from new had a new convertible hood fitted.
The week was finished off with new Vanos seals and new Vanos gears for an E36 M3 Evo.
